Heard the learned counsel for the applicants and the learned A.P.P. for the respondents/State.

The Eight (8) Kg. ganja has been seized from the custody and possession of the applicants. The raid was successful. The applicants were arrested on 17.01.2023. The quantity of contraband is not commercial. Therefore, the applicants shall be dealt with from the different angle. The material investigation appears to have been completed. There are no antecedents to the discredit of the applicants. Therefore, on certain stringent conditions, they may be granted bail. Hence, the following order :

ORDER

(i) The application is allowed.

(ii) Applicant No.1 Santosh Baburao Jadhav and applicant No.2 Akshay Manoj @ Manohar Pawar be released on bail, on furnishing P. B. and S.B. of Rs. 50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand only) each, with one solvent surety of the like amount, in Crime No. 29 of 2023, registered with Kadim Jalna Police Station, District Jalna, for the offences punishable under Sections 20(b) 20(b)(ii), 29, 8(c) of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 on the conditions that, (a) They shall attend the police station as and when called by the Investigating Officer on written notice, till filing chargesheet.
