The applicant prayed for permission to withdraw compensation amount of Rs.8,37,278/- on the ground that during the pendency of the present appeal the matter was referred to the Lok Adalat and on 22.04.2018 the settlement between the parties was arrived at in the Lok Adalat. Accordingly, the respondent no.2-acquiring body deposited entire compensation amount as per settlement in the Lok Adalat. Therefore, the applicants wanted to withdraw the same.

Since the parties to the appeal have settled their dispute in Lok Adalat on 22.04.2018 and the acquiring body-respondent no.2 deposited entire amount of compensation before this Court, therefore, the applicant is

( 2 ) 31 ca 3112.24 entitled to receive the compensation amount along with accrued interest thereon. Accordingly, the Registry of this Court is hereby directed to release the said amount in favour of the applicant with accrued interest after verification.
