Though the petitioner is seeking, rather innocuous direction to the respondent to decide his appeal stated to have been preferred under Section 247 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966, there is nothing to demonstrate that the petitioners have ever made any attempt to move the authority for an early decision of the appeal. 3.

The writ petition is disposed of permitting the petitioner to apply for expeditious disposal of the appeal.
