CORAM : S.V.GANGAPURWALA AND A.M.BADAR,JJ.

Date : 29.02.2016.

PER COURT :

1.

Heard.

2.

The petitioner seeks directions against Respondent Nos.2 to 4 to decide the pending claim for grant of rental compensation. We have heard learned counsel for respective parties. It appears that in 1989 notice was issued to the acquiring body and the State through Collector for grant of rental compensation.

3.

Upon going through the documents filed along with the petition, it does not appear that any application was given to the appropriate authority/SLAO for deciding the rental compensation. 4.

The petitioner may make an application to the

SLAO/appropriate authority for grant of rental compensation. On receipt of the application, the appropriate authority shall consider all the relevant aspects of the matter and decide the said application after hearing the parties concerned expeditiously, preferably within nine (9) months from the receipt of the application. 5.

The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs. (A.M.BADAR,J.) (S.V.GANGAPURWALA,J.) Dt.29.02.2016.
