Heard the learned Advocate for the applicants and the learned AGP for State. The learned AGP opposed the applications filed for condonation of delay.

The learned Advocate appearing for the appellants submits that the applicants are poor agriculturists and that their lands were
923 CA 6272-2023 acquired for public project and that they would not claim any interest or statutory benefits for the delay period. 3.
In view of the above, applications are allowed and the delay caused in filing first appeals is condoned subject to the condition that appellants shall not claim interest or statutory benefits for the delay period. All applications filed for condonation of delay stand disposed of.

The appeals are admitted.
5.
After admission, the learned AGP waives service of notice on behalf of respondents-State.
