We have heard Mr. Latange, the learned counsel for the petitioner. He submits that this Court, under order dated 7th October, 2014 passed in Writ Petition No. 6479 of 2013, had directed an enquiry to be concluded within one year. Though one year has lapsed in October, 2015, the same is not yet completed.

An affidavit is filed by the Additional Chief Secretary of the Finance Department, Mantralaya, Mumbai, stating that the entire procedure of completion of enquiry and further process would take further period of three months as the enquiry is with regard to 23 employees.

Considering the difficulties expressed, we extend the period for conclusion of enquiry and further process by three months from today, as requested in the affidavit filed by the Additional Chief Secretary. 4.

With the above directions, the Contempt Petition disposed of. No costs.
