This is an application filed by the original claimant seeking condonation of delay of 1608 days in filing appeal against the judgment and award passed by the reference Court.

The applicant is a person who has lost his land due to acquisition. His valuable right to have compensation would be prejudiced if his claim is not considered in appeal. He has specifically given reasons about his financial crunch for not preferring appeal in time.

For the reasons mentioned in the application, the delay is condoned subject to the condition that he shall not be entitled to claim any interest for the period of delay.
