Mr. Chavan, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the post of Sarpanch for Village Panchayat Pegargavhan was reserved for General category when the draws were made in November 2020. Now, it is reserved for SC category. The petitioner belongs to General category. The statement was made in the Public Interest Litigation that the reservation for SC and ST category would not be changed. The same was erroneous.

The learned A.G.P. thereafter by filing a pursis clarified the statement made in the Public Interest Litigation. No data is placed on
