Mr. Salve, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the post of Sarpanch for Grampanchayat Bhole, Taluka Parola, District Jalgaon is reserved for General category. The same ought to have been reserved for SC category. The said post was reserved for SC category for the years 2000 to 2005 and thereafter it has never been reserved for SC category.

We have also heard the learned A.G.P. for respondents-State and Mr. Kadethankar, learned counsel for respondent No. 2. 3.

It is submitted that there are 86 Grampanchayats and six posts of

2 47-wp 2997-2021.odt Sarpanch are reserved for SC category. The petitioner's Grampanchayat was reserved for SC category in the year 2000 to 2005. The said Grampanchayat will have to be excluded till the other Grampanchayats get the representation as per the rotation policy in the descending order.
