Pursuant to the directions of this Court, the couple had gone before the mediator. The mediator has reported that it has been successful. Compromise pursis is forwarded by him which is part of Criminal Application no. 2224 of 2021.

In view of the terms of the settlement, all these applications deserve to be allowed by which the husband of the respondent no. 2 and his relatives are seeking quashment of the crime registered at her instance bearing crime no. 217 of 2021 with Pundliknagar Police Station, Aurangabad for the offences punishable under section 120B, 420, 498A, 292, 109 of the Indian Penal Code and section 67(A) of the Information and Technology Act, 2000 and consequent Regular Criminal Case no. 1089 of 2022 pending before the Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Aurangabad. 4.
The applications are allowed.

Crime no. 217 of 2021 registered with Pundliknagar Police Station, Aurangabad for the offences punishable under section 120B, 420, 498A, 292, 109 of the Indian Penal Code and section 67(A) of the Information and Technology Act, 2000 and consequent Regular Criminal Case no. 1089 of 2022 pending before the Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Aurangabad are quashed and set aside.
