Mr.Gastgar, learned counsel for the Petitioners had filed application for seeking tribe certificate as belonging to "Thakur" Scheduled Tribe before Respondent No.2. The same is rejected. The Petitioner filed an appeal before Respondent No.1 in the year 2012. The said appeal is not yet decided.
Mr.Bade Patil, learned counsel submits that in case the said appeal is pending, the Respondent No.1 will decide the same on its own merits. Considering the fact that the appeal filed by the Petitioners before the Respondent No.1 is pending for almost three years, the Respondent No.1 shall decide the said appeal filed by he Petitioner before it, on its own merits, expeditiously, preferably within four months. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. [ V. L. ACHLIYA, J. ] [ S. V. GANGAPURWALA, J. ] ndm
