It is submitted that the petitioners are similarly situated as the petitioners in Writ Petition No. 4616 of 2016 and other connected Writ Petitions decided under judgment dated 22.12.2017 and Writ Petition No. 12198 of 2015 decided on 1.3.2018. 2.

Learned counsel further submits that the petitioners are restricting their claim to the extent of recovery only.

For the reasons stated in the judgment, referred to supra, the impugned order, passed by respondent nos. 2 and 3 to the extent of claiming recovery is quashed and set aside. If the recovery is made, the respondents shall pay the said amount within a period of six months.
