1] Heard learned counsel for the applicant and the learned APP for the respondent-State.

2] The applicant is apprehending arrest in connection with Crime No.0224/2024, dated 17.10.2024, registered at Beed (City) Police Station, Taluka & District Beed, for the offences punishable under Sections 189(2), 333, 221, 223 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023. 3] This court granted interim protection to the applicant by order dated 20.02.2025, considering the submissions recorded at paras 4 and 5, as under: "4] It is alleged in the FIR that on 16.10.2024 informant was on duty as PSO at Beed (City) Police Station and at about 22:00 hours present applicant along with other co-accused came in

the police station and tried to meet the accused namely Dnyaneshwar @ Vipul Gaikwad, who was in police custody remand, without taking permission of the informant. The informant and other staff refused the applicant and other coaccused to meet the accused namely Dnyaneshwar @ Vipul Gaikwad, however, the accused persons made altercation and, thereafter, met with the accused Dnyaneshwar @ Vipul Gaikwad and, after talking with him went away. Thus, the applicant and other coaccused obstructed in the official work of the informant. Hence, the FIR is registered against the applicant and other co-accused under the above mentioned sections.

5] This court has granted anticipatory bail to the other similarly placed co-accused."

4] Considering that this court has granted anticipatory bail to the applicants in Anticipatory Bail Application No.2014 of 2024, by order dated 12.12.2024 and the role of the present applicant is similar to the role of the applicants therein, the interim protection granted to the present applicant would be confirmed.

5] In view of the above, the interim protection granted by order dated 20.02.2025 stands confirmed, on the following terms:

i] The applicant shall attend the police station as and when required by the Investigating Officer.

ii] The applicant shall not tamper with the evidence of the prosecution in any manner. He shall not influence the informant, witnesses and other persons concerned with the case.

iii] The applicant shall co-operate with the investigation and also in the proceedings before the trial Court.

6] In the event, the applicant violates any of the conditions specified in this order, it shall be liable to be cancelled.

7] It is also clarified that the observations made in this order are limited to the disposal of the present anticipatory bail application and the trial Court shall proceed further in the matter without being influenced by the observations made hereinabove.

8] The application stands disposed of.
