The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, the petitioner was appointed by respondent Nos. 4 and 5 from S.T. category as assistant teacher. The proposal seeking approval to the appointment of the petitioner is forwarded to the Divisional Social Welfare Officer in September 2013, however, no decision has been taken on it as yet. The learned counsel submits that, the petitioner has been issued validity certificate of belonging to Tokare Koli (Scheduled Tribe).

The learned Assistant Government Pleader accepts notice for respondent Nos. 1 to 3.

In case the proposal (Exhibit - D) seeking approval to the appointment of the petitioner is pending with the authority, then the authority shall consider the said proposal and decide it on its own merits, in accordance with law, expeditiously and preferably within a period of six (06) months from today. The writ petition accordingly is disposed of. No costs.
