Situation emerges that against decree passed against present petitioner, an appeal has been preferred belatedly and application for condonation of delay along with application for interim relief has been filed and in the same notices have been issued. In the circumstances, petitioner may go ahead with the applications in appeal. Hearing on application for interim relief expedited. Interim relief granted by this court under order dated 15-2-2018 to continue to operate till decision of interim relief application before appellate court. 2.

In so far as, settlement avenues contended by counsel for petitioner, it would be for the petitioner to make an approach as may be thought appropriate 3.
