Both these Civil Applications are rendered infructuous and stand disposed off.
(b) Civil Application No.2299/2024:- 2.
The Applicant/ Petitioner seeks inter-district transfer.
*2* 954ca4118o22a6064o21 In order to facilitate the scope for his transfer, he had prayed in Civil Application No.2299/2024, that one post of a graduate teacher teaching Mathematics and Science subjects from the Other Backward Class (OBC) category, should be kept vacant in the Latur Zilla Parishad, which is likely to be filled in through the Pavitra Portal.

The Petitioner does not have vested right to seek even intra-district transfer much less inter-district transfer. The rights are limited to the scope enshrined in the Government Resolution dated 07.04.2021, to the extent of intra-district transfer. If the request of the Petitioner is accepted, a graduate teacher's post will have to be kept vacant only because the Petitioner aspires to seek inter-district transfer. The Pavitra Portal mechanism is the result of the orders of this Court in the PIL proceedings and we do not wish to stall the same when there are hundreds of posts vacant which have to be filled in considering the interest of the students' education.

In view of the above, this Civil Application is rejected.
