The petitioner is possessing the tribe certificate in the Form 'C' as per Rule 4(6) and 5(2) (a) and (b) of the Rules framed under the Maharashtra Act No. XXIII of 2001. However, since he is seeking employment with the Central Government and its establishment, he is in need of a caste/tribe certificate in the form admissible in that process. He has submitted application with respondent/competent authority.

Considering the fact that the advertisement was published by the Union Public Service Commission (U.P.S.C.) on 22/01/2025

2162.25wp (2) and the last date of receipt of the application and uploading the documents is 18/02/2025, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to petitioner to appear before respondent No.2/Sub Divisional Officer, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar by tomorrow, and the latter shall after verifying the genuineness of the petitioner's caste/tribe certificate, issue him caste/tribe certificate in the form of prescribed by the Central Government, by 18/02/2025.
