Since the petitioner developed disability during her service, she could not render job as a Conductor. She was, therefore, terminated from her service w.e.f. 11/8/2016. 2.

Now the employer i.e. Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC), Latur Division has come around and placed on record a communication dated 12/2/2025, conceding to reinstate the petitioner in service and

give her fixed place of work. The petitioner has been called upon to submit herself for medical examination before the Civil Surgeon/ Medical Board. The MSRTC is going to review the entire case including the prayer for grant of back-wages, with liberty to approach this Court again if the back-wages are not granted, the Writ Petition stands disposed of in view of the communication dated 12/2/2025. The exercise has to be completed within a couple of weeks.
