The learned Advocate for the Petitioner submits, on instructions received from the Petitioner, after a pass over, that this Petition may be treated as a PIL and the Petitioner is willing to deposit an amount of Rs. 5 lacs under Rule 7A(i) of the Bombay High Court PIL Rules, 2010, within three weeks. 2.

In view of the above, let the Petitioner deposit an amount of Rs. 5 lacs in this Court on or before 14.03.2024. If the amount is not deposited, this Petition shall stand dismissed without reference to the Court on 15.03.2024.

If the Petitioner is depositing the amount, the learned Advocate for the Petitioner would re-draft the Petition in terms of the provisions of the Bombay High Court PIL Rules, 2010 so as to be treated as PIL. Redrafted copy of the memo, which would be treated as PIL, should be tendered along with the deposit amount, on or before 14.03.2024.
