We have considered the submissions of the learned Advocate for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader. 2.

The learned Govt.Pleader submits that a decision on the application/ proposal dated 18.08.2017, which was actually addressed to respondent Nos. 2 and 4 alongwith application dated 09.03.2021 addressed to respondent No.2, would be considered with the assistance of respondent No.3 and a decision on the application would be taken on or before 30.12.2022.

Considering that the petitioner's father passed away on 13.07.2017 while in employment and the application/proposal is dated 18.08.2017, we expect respondent Nos. 2 and 4 to take an appropriate decision for grant of compassionate appointment, on or before 30.12.2022.
