OCTOBER 16, 2024 ORDER :- Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the application dated 16.02.2023, submitted by the petitioner to respondent no.4, with a request to grant permission to apply for premature retirement on compassionate ground, is not yet decided. He submits that the petitioner restricts the relief to the extent of directing the concerned respondent to consider and decide the said application within a time bound manner.

Learned counsel appearing for respondent nos.1 to 5 submits that appropriate order may be passed.

In view of the above, the petition is allowed in terms of prayer clause (B). The concerned authority shall consider and decide the application submitted by the petitioner in accordance with law and preferably, within a period of ninety days from the receipt of a copy of this order.
