Issue notice to the Respondents. Learned AGP waives notice for the Respondent-State.

Present petition has been filed for directions to the Respondent-Scrutiny Committee to decide Tribe Claim of the Petitioner pending since 9.3.2023.

Learned AGP, after waiving the notice on behalf of respondent and on instructions, makes a statement that the matter is pending for Vigilance Inquiry and, therefore, it will take at least six months to decide the Tribe Claim of the petitioner taking into consideration pendency with the Committee.

In view of the said statement, we dispose off the Writ Petition by issuing directions to the Respondent-Committee to decide Tribe Claim of the Petitioner, as expeditiously, as possible and within a period of six (6) months from today.
