We have heard the learned Advocates for the respective sides for sometime.

Having noticed largely disputed factors involved including a serious allegation that the NA order dated 07.04.2008 is purportedly a fictitious document, revenue authorities have suo moto initiated revision proceeding under Section 257 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966.

Considering the disputed factors before us and the fact that the proceedings under Section 257 of the Code would lead to reaching the truth in the matter, this Writ Petition is disposed off with the following

A) Respondent No. 3 shall ensure that all the stakeholders in the suo moto revision are served within 45 days from today. Thereafter, each person would be granted a reasonable opportunity of filing the written reply/written statement within a period of 30 days.

B) The said authority would follow the due procedure laid down in law and grant reasonable opportunity of hearing to all the stakeholders.

C) After the hearing in the matter concludes, the concern authority shall pass a reasoned order in each case of the disputed mutation entries by dealing with all the contentions and objections of each of the litigating parties within a period of 60 days.
