This court while disposing of Writ Petition No. 07206 of 2015 by judgment dated 07th July, 2016 directed the respondent - Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd. to re-consider the application of the petitioner for her appointment on compassionate ground on its own merits since 66 net points assigned to her as per the assessment criteria in view of the guidelines recorded in letter dated 27th June, 2007.

Learned counsel appearing for the respondents states, on instructions, that the competent authority is expected to take decision in the matter and in any case, the direction issued by this court, referred to above, would be complied within a period of three months from today.

In view of the statement made on behalf of the respondents, the Contempt Petition stands disposed of.
