ORAL ORDER :

Rule. Rule made returnable forthwith and heard finally with the consent of learned counsel for the parties. 2.

The proposal seeking validity in respect of caste claim of the petitioner as belonging to Hindu Chambhar - Scheduled Caste is pending consideration with the respondent Committee. The learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for respondents No.4 and 5 state that the said proposal is forwarded

Writ Petition No.1969/2015 to the Committee on 15.10.2013. The learned A.G.P. states that, it would take some time to decide the proceedings. 3.

Considering the above, we pass the following order : 4.

The respondent No.2 Committee shall decide the validation proceedings in respect of the caste claim of the petitioner as belonging to Hindu Chambhar - Scheduled Caste expeditiously, preferably within nine months. 5.

The petitioner shall not be refrained from prosecuting further studies only on the ground that his validation proceedings are pending. Of course the respondents are free to take further steps in tune with the decision rendered by the Committee in the validation proceedings. Rule accordingly made absolute in above terms.
