Petitioner is before this Court primarily because his land is being used for setting up high tension power line. 2.

The process of determining compensation was being undertaken pursuant to the policy of the Government dated 31-05-2017.

The learned AGP, on instructions, from the Sub Divisional Officer, Omerga dated 16-02-2023 which are placed on record and marked 'X' for the purpose of identification, submits that even respondents were unaware about the recent policy of the Government published on 01-12-2022.

These instructions expressly make it clear that the respondents were not aware of the recent policy and have further undertaken to take necessary steps pursuant thereto. 5.
