Issue notice to respondents. The learned A. G. P. waives notice for respondent Nos. 1, 2 and 4. Mr. Sant, the learned counsel waives notice for the respondent No. 3. 2.
The learned counsel for petitioners states that, validation proceedings in respect of caste claim is pending before the Committee since March 2016. The college and the university are insisting for validity certificates.

We have also heard the learned Assistant Government Pleader for respondent Nos. 1, 2 and 4 and Mr. Sant, the learned counsel for the respondent No. 3.

It is for the Committee to decide the validation proceedings. Considering the above, we pass following order. 5.
The respondent No. 2/Committee shall decide validation proceedings in respect of tribe claims of petitioners expeditiously and preferably within a period of nine (09) months from today. The petitioners shall co-operate in expeditious disposal of said proceedings. The respondent Nos. 3 and 4 shall not take any adverse action against the petitioners only on the ground that validation proceedings is pending. Of course, the respondent Nos. 3 and 4 can take further course of action pursuant to the judgment that would be delivered by the Committee in the validation proceedings. The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
