The learned counsel for the petitioner states that, the tribe claim of the petitioner is pending with the respondent No. 2/Committee since 2005. The same is not yet decided. The respondent No. 2 be directed to decide the same expeditiously. 2.

Mr. Patil, the learned counsel for the respondent No. 2/Committee on instructions states that, the validation proceedings in respect of the tribe claim of the petitioner would be decided within a period of six months from today. The said statement is accepted.

In the light of that, we pass the following order. 4.

The respondent No. 2/Committee shall decide the validation proceedings in respect of tribe claim of the petitioner as belonging to Thakur scheduled tribe on its own merits expeditiously and preferably within a period of three (3) months from today.
