WADANE, JJ (Date : 6th APRIL, 2016.) PER COURT :- Learned APP informs that the petitioner has been granted extension in parole for a period of 30 days, by order dated 23.2.2016. A copy of the order is placed on record and marked Exhibit 'X' for identification.

Since the petitioner has been granted extension of parole, the apprehension expressed by her in respect of imposition of punishment for overstay beyond the period prescribed under the initial order, renders unfounded. In the event of occurrence of any cause, the petitioner shall have liberty to approach the Court. It is noticed that the punishment of removal of her name from

{2} cr wp 235.16.odt remission register for a period of 175 days, has been proposed, however, no punishment has yet been imposed. The punishing authority will surely take note of the order passed by the authority granting extension of parole on 23.2.2016.

In the event of occurrence of any cause, keeping option of the petitioner to approach this Court open, writ petitions stands disposed of.
