PER COURT:- 1.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, validation proceeding in respect of tribe claim of petitioner is pending. The petitioner is placed on supernumerary post and show cause notice is also issued to submit validity certificate by the end of the academic year or else adverse action would be taken.

The impugned action of placing the petitioner on supernumerary post, so also impugned letter directing the petitioner to produce validity certificate by the end of the academic year are quashed and set aside.

In case, respondents want to take action against the petitioner of placing the petitioner on

(2) 921-wp-2725-2022 supernumerary post or otherwise, then notice shall be issued to the petitioner giving opportunity to show cause. In that event, the petitioner can file reply and bring all the relevant facts to the notice of the respondent-Committee.

The Committee shall decide the validation proceedings expeditiously and preferably within a period of three months.

5.

The petitioner shall appear before the Committee on 22.03.2022.

Writ Petition accordingly disposed of. No costs.
