VERSUS

STATE OF MAHARASHTRA AND ANOTHER ...

Advocate for Petitioners : Mr. Balkhande Prakash V AGP for Respondents State: Mr. D. B. Bhange Advocate for Respondent No.2 : Mr. S. K. Chavan ...

CORAM

: S. V. GANGAPURWALA & V. K. JADHAV, JJ.

DATE :

24th July, 2015 PER COURT :

1.

Learned counsel for the petitioners states that the petitioners have given representations seeking regularization of their appointment and further appointment to the post of peon. It appears that representations initially were given in the years 1999-2000 and some of the representations were given in 2014.

2.

We have heard Mr. Chavan, the learned counsel for respondent No.2 also.

3.

The only relief sought by the petitioners is to decide their representations. The said representations have become stale. The petitioner may file fresh representations with respondent No.2, seeking regularization and appointment orders as contended by them. The respondent No.2 shall decide the said representations within four months from the date of receipt of the representations, on its own merits, in accordance with law and policy.

4.

Writ petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs. (V. K. JADHAV, J.) ( S. V. GANGAPURWALA, J. ) JPC 1/1
