By order dated 19.12.2017, this Court has directed that the result of the election for the post of Sarpanch would be subject to the outcome of this Writ Petition. The learned counsel for the petitioner/applicant submits that now, the new Sarpanch has been elected and he has taken over the charge.

In view of the above and for the reasons stated in the Civil Application, the Civil Application is allowed in terms of prayer clause (A) and disposed of accordingly.
