The criminal appeal is allowed.

The judgment and order of conviction and sentence, dated 03.02.2017, recorded in Special (ACB) Case No. 22 of 2015, by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Jalgaon, thereby convicting the appellant under Section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 and sentencing him to suffer S.I. for two years and to pay fine of Rs.20,000/- i/d to suffer S.I. for four months, is set aside and the appellant is acquitted of the said charges.

Bail bonds and surety are discharged from liability. IV.

Fine amount of Rs.20,000/- be refunded to the appellant after the appeal period is over.
