We have briefly heard the learned Advocate for the respective sides.

The petitioner claims that the increments payable to him have not been released. His proposal has been forwarded to the Joint Director, Higher Education vide communication dated 24-11-2017 by the Management. His earlier approved service with another Education - Institution will have to be reckoned with while considering the quantum of the increments.

In view of the above, this petition is disposed off by directing respondent No.2 to decide the proposal forwarded to it, by respondent No. 4, dated 24-11-2017, if not already decided, on or before 15th July, 2022.

Needless to state, the Competent Authority would consider the eligibility of the petitioner as well as his earlier approved service, if the same is required to be reckoned with while deciding the proposal for grant of increments. (S.G.DIGE, J.) (RAVINDRA V. GHUGE, J.) mtk
