Petitioner appearing in person is absent.

Learned counsel for respondents refer to that the term of nominated councillors is co-terminus with the term of elected members in accordance with the Maharashtra Municipal Corporations Act.

Having regard to aforesaid, it appears that the petition has been rendered infructuous. Even otherwise, petition has not been prosecuted diligently as no steps have been taken since 2015 for hearing of the matter.
