Order :-

1. Mr. Halkunde, learned counsel for petitioner submits that in February 2012 the petitioner has filed application seeking rental compensation, however, the same is not yet decided. Even appeal filed by the State against award passed by the Reference Court is dismissed by this Court.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader states that application is not filed with authority i.e. Special Land Acquisition Officer. It appears that copy of said application for rental compensation has been served to Collector, Latur. Petitioner may file fresh application seeking rental compensation to the authority concerned, the same would be decided by the authority on its merits.

In light of the above, application seeking rental compensation if filed by the petitioner, the authority concerned shall decide the same after hearing all the parties concerned, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within period of nine (09) months from the date of receipt of such application.

With aforesaid direction, writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
