Learned counsel Mr. S. K. Kadam appearing for respondent no.1, on instructions, submits that the voter list has been finalized on 15.02.2021.

It appears from the submissions made on behalf of the petitioners that in term of the provisions of Section 30 and its proviso, the petitioners being the nominees, heirs or the legal representatives, as the case may be, are not even duly vre/-

936-WP-3152-2021.odt admitted as members of the society till this date. There is no reason to consider as to whether there is inaction on the part of the petitioners or the society. However, there is an inordinate delay in completion of that process. In view of the same and since the voter list is now finalized, this Writ Petition is disposed off as infructuous.

The petitioners, however, are at liberty to file appropriate applications before the society for their enrollment as member substituting the deceased members, as the case may be, and upon filing such application, it is for the society to consider each and every application on its own merits, as expeditiously as possible.
