The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has cleared the 12th standard examination so also the NEET and admission rounds would commence for the professional course. Production of validation certificate is mandatory. The claim of the petitioner for validation of his caste certificate is pending with the respondent No. 2/committee. The committee be directed to decide the same.

Mr. Patil, the learned Additional Government Pleader submits that the committee has taken up the cases of the students who have passed 12th standard examination, on priority

2 wp 6817.19 basis and the committee would decide the validation proceeding on its own merits on priority basis.

In fact the application is filed by the petitioner for validation in June 2018. The committee is required to decide the same.

Mr. Golegaonkar, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that at the principal seat, the members of the committee had represented the Court that the committee would decide validation proceedings preferably by 15th June 2019. 5.

The schedule for admissions to the professional courses has not yet been declared. Naturally, the petitioner, if is desirous of taking admissions in professional course is required to submit validation certificate.

Considering the above, the committees shall endeavour to decide the validation proceeding in respect of tribe claim of the petitioner (of course on the petitioner's cooperating for expeditious disposal) expeditiously and preferably before the start of the admission rounds.

Considering the fact that petitioner himself has urgency in getting proceeding decided, the petitioner shall not insist for

3 wp 6817.19 mandatory 15 days period to file reply to vigilance report. He will not be entitled to claim such a right. The petitioner shall appear before the respondent No. 2/committee on 13/6/2019. 8.

The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
