The present petition has been filed to direct the respondent No.1 to decide the proceedings of inquiry No. J3/1912/2019 and J3/768/2023, as expeditiously as possible, within a time frame. 2.

Learned AGP waives notice for respondent No.1. 3.

We had directed him to take oral instructions as to how many matters are pending before the learned Assistant Charity Commissioner. He submits that the matter is pending before the Assistant Charity Commissioner - 2 and there are more than 1400 matters pending before him and the oldest one is of the year 2006. Even the matters pertain to 2019 that is still pending and another is of the year 2023.

We do not want to put pressure on the learned Assistant

{2} 932 sr..odt Charity Commissioner but expect that he can take up the proceeding as prescibred and try to consider proposals/proceedings/reports as early as possible and therefore, we do not find that under the powers under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, we need to give a time frame to the Assistant Charity Commissioner - 2, Aurangabad. 5.
