The petitioner, who has secured admission against the reserved seat, is awaiting decision of the Scrutiny Committee on a proposal forwarded by the college for validation of his tribe certificate. 2.

The learned AGP, on instructions, submits that the committee would require another six months time for deciding the petitioner's proposal.

The learned advocate for the petitioner submits that a vigilance enquiry has been conducted in petitioner's real sister's matter, and she has filed a reply. The petitioner is ready to adopt it, and the committee can consider the request and decide the proposal at the earliest. 1/2

The writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the committee to consider the petitioner's request for adopting his sister's response to the vigilance report and for deciding the proposal as expeditiously as possible. The committee shall, however, decide the proposal in any case within five months.
