The grievance of the Petitioners is that the proceeding instituted under the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, in the year 2006, after various rounds before the authorities, is now remanded to the Tahsildar and is still pending.

The learned AGP submits on instructions that the Tahsildar is searching for the record. We express our displeasure. Record pertaining to the revenue entries cannot go missing from the Tahsil office and if there is any further complication, we would hold the Tahsildar responsible. The Tahsildar shall conclude all the six
