After disinclination is shown to grant any relief in favour of the applicant, learned Advocate for the applicant prays for withdrawal of the application with directions to the learned Additional Sessions Judge to expedite the trial.

There is no problem in allowing the applicant to withdraw the application, as this Court is not inclined to grant any relief to the applicant. Now, as regards the expeditious trial is concerned, no doubt, as on today, this Court is not having statistical data as to how many cases are pending before the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Hingoli, but it is certain that since the applicant is a lady, she has the right to get expeditious trial. So also, taking into consideration the charge-sheet, (1)

10-BA-225-2021.odt this is not a case where it would go on for months together and, therefore, the trial can be made time bound. However, at this present stage, in view of the present pandemic situation due to Covid-19 is becoming worst day by day, time is required to be given to the learned Additional Sessions Judge, since the Standard Operating Procedure for the district judiciary is also operating right now and, therefore, the learned Additional Sessions Judge is directed to expedite the disposal of the case and to conclude the trial by the end of this year i.e. till 31.10.2021.
