DATED : 21st NOVEMBER, 2019 PER COURT:- Learned counsel for the petitioner accepts that by efflux of time this petition has become infructuous. It appears that the petitioner has raised Gram Panchayat Dispute No. 73 of 2005 pertaining to the election of the year 2003 before the Additional Collector, Jalgaon and sought declaration that respondent No.1 herein is disqualified from being a member of the Gram Panchayat on account of invalidation of his caste certificate. Though the objection raised by the petitioner came to be sustained, however, the petitioner was not declared as elected and therefore, the petitioner has preferred this writ petition. The term pertaining to the election of the year 2003 is over long back. The writ petition has now become meaningless. In view of the same, the writ petition is hereby dismissed as infructuous. Rule discharged.
