DATED : 08 DECEMBER 2022 PER COURT :- The position as on today stands that the charge-sheet was filed in the year 2017 i.e. precisely on 31.01.2017 and the present application has been filed on 14.02.2022 for quashment of the proceedings. Learned APP is producing the Case Status from the website of the trial court. It appears that charge was framed on 30.08.2021 and on 18.09.2021 there appears to be evidence that was adduced and thereafter, since 05.10.2021, the matter is part heard. That means the matter is proceeded and evidence has been led. Further, taking into consideration the charge-sheet, hardly some witnesses are there who could be said to be required to be examined.

963-CriAppln-709-2022 -2Under such circumstance, this is not a fit case where we should exercise our inherent powers under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. The application stands dismissed.
