On the last date we had asked the learned A.G.P. to take instructions regarding status of the petitioner's application U/Sec. 36(5) of the Maharashtra Public Trusts Act, 1950.

Mr. Karlekar, learned A.G.P., on instructions, submits that the said application was kept for hearing on 26.02.2020. Now, the same is postponed on 28.02.2020.

Considering the fact that the respondent is taking up hearing of the said application, the respondent shall decide the said application

2 wp 2886.20 within eight (08) weeks. The petitioner may take steps in the said matter as may be permissible in law. It is made clear that we have not considered the writ petition on merits.
