Perused the First Information Report, the evidence of the prosecutrix and the evidence of the doctor who had medically screened her.

The applicant has been convicted for the offence punishable under Section 376(1) of the Indian Penal Code and sentenced to suffer rigorous imprisonment for seven (7) years and pay fine of Rs.25,000/-, in default, to suffer simple imprisonment for

(( 2 )) 921(B)-Cri-Appln-682-2022 one year. He was on bail pending trial. The appeal is not likely to come up for hearing in near future. The execution of substantive sentence of imprisonment to stand suspended, pending the appeal. The applicant be released on his executing P. R. bond in the sum of Rs.15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand ) with surety in the like amount.
