Heard the learned counsel for the applicant and the learned A.P.P for respondents/State.

The Court was not convinced to grant bail to the applicant. The learned A.P.P. submits that the trial has been commenced and is likely to be completed. The learned counsel for the applicant seeks leave to withdraw the application and submits that the trial court be directed to expedite the trial.

Considering the submission of the learned A.P.P., it appears that the trial Court itself is taking care to dispose of the matter at the earliest, since the matter was of 2012. In the circumstances, the Court is of the view that there is no necessity to direct the Court to expedite the matter.

For the above reason, the application stands dismissed as withdrawn.
