Heard Mr. Salve, the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner.

By this Writ Petition, the petitioner has challenged the order dated 22.12.2017 whereby certificate U/Sec.101 of the Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act, 1960 has been issued against the petitioner. The proceedings for issuance of such certificate were initiated in July, 2017 and the petitioner was put to notice. Thereafter, the said impugned order was passed by the competent authority being the Joint Registrar of Co-op. Societies.

The learned Counsel for the petitioner does not dispute the fact that the petitioner has remedy U/Sec. 154 of the aforesaid Act to invoke revisional jurisdiction in order to challenge the aforesaid impugned order dated 22.12.2017. In that view of the matter, this Court declines to exercise writ jurisdiction in the present case and the Writ Petition is dismissed. 4.

Needless to say, the petitioner may approach the competent authority U/Sec. 154 of the aforesaid Act, and if such an application is filed by the petitioner, the same shall be decided in accordance with the law.
