Mr. Patil, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, the validation proceedings may not be proceeded further and the petitioner be granted protection in service in view of the judgment of the Apex Court in a case of A. P. Ramtekkar Vs. Union of India reported in 2013(2) Mh.L.J. 419. 2.
Heard the learned counsel for respondents.

In view of the judgment of the Full Bench of this Court in a
2 wp 2164.15 case of Arun Vishwanath Sonone Vs. State of Maharashtra and others reported in 2015(1) Mh.L.J. 457 unless the validation proceedings are decided, protection cannot be extended. The Full Bench has also considered the judgment of the Apex Court A. P. Ramtekkar Vs. Union of India. In the light of that, the prayers of the petitioner at this stage cannot be considered. The validation proceedings will have to be proceeded further.

In the light of the above, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
