The Petitioner's grievance is that though the vehicle has been recalibrated and the Tahasildar, Nandurbar, has communicated to the Assistant Collector, Nandurbar, by the communication dated 25.01.2024 to grant approval, the same is still pending.

The learned AGP places before us a copy of the order passed by the Sub Divisional Officer-cum- Magistrate, Nandurbar Division, Nandurbar, dated 13.02.2024 by which, the order has already been passed under Section 48(7) and 48(8)(2) of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966.

As such, the Petitioner will have to challenge the said order before an appropriate forum. Needless to state, his request for considering the release of the vehicle, if the weight of the vehicle is within the permissible limits after recalibration, is kept open to be considered expeditiously.

With the above observation, this Writ Petition is disposed off.
